MEDICAL NEEDS
We have a few dogs that we recently accepted into rescue that need medical care.
We have a few dogs that we recently accepted into rescue that need medical care.
Blanca is our very special Dogo Argentino girl that was used for breeding and then dumped at the shelter. We now have her at the rescue and she's doing well, but she desperately needs medical attention. She likely has breast cancer (see pictures), she also has a couple of bumps that need to be checked and her hips seem to not be in the best shape. She will need a full blood work panel, including valley fever testing, x-rays for the chest, back leg, and hip, and a needle biopsy of her teet. These tests will tell us if her health issues can be resolved (we're hoping that if it is in fact breast cancer, that it hasn't spread yet and can be removed).
The cost of these initial procedures is $489.
Will you please donate to help us cover this expense? She is only about 5 years old. She is very sweet and happy and loves to be near her people and to give kisses. She deserves a second chance and she'll make a wonderful addition to a new family some day (if her health allows). We have scheduled the vet visit for June 12th at 2 PM.
